What we know about you.
We collect the bare minimum. We never sell your data. Here's the whole story.
What we collect when you order.
Your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, and payment info. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card number.
What we collect when you visit.
Your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed, and how you got here. Standard web analytics. We use this to fix things that are broken and to understand which products people care about.
What we collect when you subscribe.
Your name and email, when you sign up for the Society. That's it. You can unsubscribe with one click from any email we send.
How we use it.
- To fulfill and ship your order
- To answer your questions when you email us
- To send order confirmations and tracking
- To send marketing emails, only if you opted in
- To improve the site and our products
- To prevent fraud and keep checkout safe
Who we share it with.
Only the partners we need to run the business:
- Shopify. Our e-commerce platform. Hosts the store, processes payments, manages orders.
- USPS. Ships your order. Gets your name and address.
- Shopify Email or Klaviyo. Sends your order confirmations and Society emails.
- Google Analytics. Anonymized usage data. We don't share personal info here.
- Judge.me. Collects reviews after delivery, if you opt in.
About cookies.
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and track site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but checkout and your cart may stop working.
Email marketing.
You'll only get marketing emails if you signed up. Unsubscribe from any email, anytime. We don't share our list with anyone.
Your rights.
No matter where you live, you can:
- Ask us what data we have on you
- Correct it if it's wrong
- Delete it (we keep order records for tax purposes, but otherwise it's gone)
- Opt out of marketing emails
- Ask us to send you a copy of your data

California residents.
Under the CCPA, you have additional rights including the right to know what we collect and the right to delete. Same email above. We don't sell personal information, so the "do not sell" right doesn't apply, but you can still ask us to delete what we have.
EU and UK residents.
Under the GDPR (and UK GDPR), you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Same email to exercise them. Our legal basis for processing is performance of contract (your order) and legitimate interest (security and improvement).
How long we keep it.
- Order records: 7 years (federal and state tax law)
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data: anonymized after 14 months
- Support emails: 2 years
About kids.
This site is not for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you think a child has given us their info, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy.
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a fresh "last updated" date. Material changes get an email, if you're on the list.
