The promise.
We make our towels to last. If yours doesn't feel right, send it back within 30 days for a full refund. We'd rather have a happy customer than a sold one.
Your window.
30 days from the day your towel arrives at your door. That's plenty of time to try it at the beach, take it on a trip, and see how it dries.
The condition.
Towels need to come back unwashed and in original packaging. We can't accept used items. We won't resell them, and we know they're not fresh anymore. If your towel is defective or damaged, that's a separate thing (see below).
How to start.
Email hello@shakkatowels.com with your order number and we'll send you a prepaid return label within one business day. Print it, slap it on the original box, drop it at any USPS location.
Who pays for return shipping.
We do. Return shipping is free for U.S. customers. The return label we email you covers it.
When you get your money back.
Once your return lands at our studio, we inspect it and issue a refund within 3 business days to your original payment method. From there, banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to post the credit. We'll email you when the refund goes out.
Want a different color?
Easy. Email us with your order number and which color or pattern you'd rather have. We'll ship the new one and send a return label for the original. No extra charge.
Defective or damaged?
If your towel showed up with a flaw or arrived damaged, send a photo to hello@shakkatowels.com within 14 days. Full refund or replacement, your choice. No need to return the original.
Final sale items.
None right now. Everything we sell is returnable under this policy. If that changes (sample sales, seconds), we'll mark final-sale items clearly on the product page.
Refusing the package?
If you refuse delivery or the package gets returned to us because of an undeliverable address, we refund the product but keep the original shipping cost. Email us before refusing if there's a problem, we'll usually have a better fix.
